To apply for a student visa in Australia you need to fulfill certain criteria :

  • You must be 6 years or older
  • You must provide a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) at a full-time course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students, CRICOS
  • You should be able to show evidence of your English language skills
  • You and your family members must be covered by Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) from an approved Australian health insurance provider for the length of your stay in Australia
  • If you’re under 18 years of age, you must have adequate welfare arrangements in place while you are in Australia
  • You should meet health and character requirements
  • You need to have enough money for your stay

  • Completed Australian student visa application form (157A)
  • Paid visa application fee – currently AU$620 (~US$420) in most cases
  • Copy of passport biodata page (some students may be asked to physically provide their passport)
  • Certificate of Enrolment or Letter of Offer
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • Evidence of health insurance cover
  • English proficiency test results
  • Criminal record check results
  • Four recent passport-sized photographs

Criteria for applying in Canada for a student visa:

  • The minimum eligibility criterion is to be a graduate with a 50% score from a UGC or AICTE recognized university.
  • The graduation degree has to be completed within the stipulated time with no year back.
  • The client should not have more than 10 backlogs in his/her graduation period.
  • You have been accepted by a designated learning institute (DLI).
  • You need to prove that you have adequate funds to pay your tuition fee and living expenses.
  • You need to prove that you have a clean background and no criminal record. The aspirants need to produce a police certificate to prove this.
  • You need to do a health checkup and produce a medical certificate that certifies that you are in good health.
